Looking for a day of fun and beauty without spending a fortune? Look no further than Macy’s Flower Show which is running from Sunday, March 28 through Sunday, April 11, and contains 30,000 different varieties of exotic flowers, trees, and plants.
I went for the first time today (apparently it’s been going on for 60 years, but I’ve never heard of it) and it was truly majestic (see some examples below.)
Macy's offers 20-minute guided tours of the flower show between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the 35th Street and Broadway entrance but I just sort of wandered around so you don’t need that.
